Merit House, Colindale, London
We were asked by agents MERJS (formerly Ross Jaye Sayer) and DTZ to quote for a marketing campaign for this property, a major landmark building that had become ‘part of the furniture’ on the Edgware Road. Within a week, we costed and submitted a proposal that included advertising, agents’ boards, a brochure, brochure inserts, flyers and a website. Given the go-ahead by the owners, they were so pleased with the way we produced these elements, they asked us to quote for re branding the building, to include new exterior and interior signage and a new reception desk.
As a result, a tired, 1960’s building is being brought back to useful life. The agents and building managers are receiving enquiries from businesses that are newly aware of the building. Empty space is being let and higher rentals are being achieved. Consequently the investment value of the building has been enhanced, and this has been achieved for a relatively small expenditure.
Smarts Place, Covent Garden
Agents, Edward Charles & EA Shaw asked us to create a brochure and website that reflected the superb space and detail of this project, a dilapidated former fruit warehouse that had been totally refurbished and converted into stunning office floors in a good, but unfamiliar location. We had a website up and running within days and the brochure received plaudits throughout the London commercial agency market. As a result of the pdf and website, two floors were let before the brochure arrived at the agents!
Centro, Camden NW1
Clients Compco, had a superb development underway in Camden. Based on former industrial buildings, these units retained many of the original Victorian features which they wanted to show off. We devised a unique brochure, a 2-sided poster that folded down to brochure size, allowing us to display lots of large photos of the floors and architectural features, but at a fraction of the price of a multi-page brochure.
The Metropolitan Police
As modern police stations come into service, The Met disposes of their out-of-date properties. Ground floor windows are boarded up to prevent vandalism, but when the buildings are photographed for property brochures, boarded up windows don’t look good. We retouch our photos while making clear the images have been electronically enhanced. The result - brochures showing the buildings at their best and a delighted Met.
Esprit, Clerkenwell
The fashion house, Esprit, wanted to dispose of a studio unit in Exmouth House, a light industrial building in this very fashionable part of London. As a busy working studio, it was a mess – we photographed it in such a way as to emphasise the character of the building, its cool image and surroundings, whilst obscuring its untidy state and all without disruption to the staff!
